Challenges

Dear Imagination,

You’ve always been my by biggest strength.

Though some would call it a weakness.

In my adult years, I cling to this piece of myself that has not disappeared.

I long for the new adventures I can take myself on.

I long for the endless possibilities.

I feel sadness for those who have lost that spark.

And as I look at my daughter, who plays pretend with even something as simple as pens. I hope she never loses her imagination either.
